Careers

Build worlds with us.

We are a small, early-stage indie studio, and we build with people who want a real stake in what they make. Every role below is collaboration first: bring your craft, own your corner, and share in what we ship.

We are people-first and employee-first: self-funded, no VC money, no investors. And our art is 100% human-made. We never use generative AI for images, video, animation, modeling, or acting; LLMs only ever assist our developers with code.

How it works

Revenue share, in the open.

These roles are not salaried. Instead, everyone who contributes to a game earns on every copy sold, weighted by how much they contributed. It is how we can build ambitious things as a self-funded studio, and it means shipping something great pays everyone who made it great.

The specific terms and contribution weighting are discussed during interviews and set out in a written agreement before any work begins, so there are no surprises on either side. If that model excites you, we would love to talk.

Who we are looking for

Art

Artist

2 openings

Shape the look of surreal sci-fi worlds, from concept sketches to in-engine assets. 2D, 3D, or both, we care about your eye more than your toolchain.

We are looking for two artists to help define the visual identity of our games. The specialty is flexible: concept art, environment art, 3D modeling, texturing, UI art, or some blend of them. Show us work that carries atmosphere and mood, and we will find where it fits.

What you would do

  • Develop concept art and mood pieces that set the tone for new worlds.
  • Build game-ready assets (models, materials, or 2D art depending on your focus).
  • Iterate with the team in Unreal Engine 5 until it feels right in-game.

What we look for

  • A portfolio that shows a strong personal eye, finished pieces or shipped work.
  • Comfort iterating from rough to final with honest feedback in both directions.
  • Self-direction: we are a small team and everyone owns their corner.

Design

Game Designer

1 opening

Own systems, loops, and moment-to-moment feel. Turn wild ideas into mechanics players cannot put down.

We are looking for a game designer to own gameplay systems end to end: from pitch, to paper design, to tuned implementation alongside our engineers and artists.

What you would do

  • Design core loops, progression, and encounter structure for our projects.
  • Prototype fast, playtest honestly, and cut what does not survive contact with players.
  • Write clear, living design docs the whole team can build against.

What we look for

  • Shipped or well-documented personal projects that show design thinking, not just ideas.
  • Fluency in playtesting discipline: hypotheses, observation, iteration.
  • Enough technical comfort to tune values in-engine (Unreal Engine 5 experience is a plus).

Developer

1 opening

Build gameplay, tools, and systems across Unreal Engine 5 and our web stack. Generalists who love shipping are at home here.

We are looking for a developer to build alongside us: gameplay code in Unreal Engine 5, tooling, or the web systems that back our games. Pick your lane or roam between them.

What you would do

  • Implement gameplay features and systems in UE5 (C++ and Blueprints).
  • Contribute to our open-source tooling and the game-server platform when it helps the games.
  • Own features end to end: design collaboration, implementation, polish, and fixes.

What we look for

  • Projects you can show, shipped games, mods, tools, or serious personal work.
  • Pragmatism: durable code where it matters, fast code where it does not.
  • Curiosity across the stack; our surface area is wide and that is the fun of it.
